The long awaited debate night has finally come and gone. And it is leaving many in disbelief and democrats scrambling. Former President Trump and President Biden went face to face for the first time since 2020. Since the last debates Trump seems to have gained more control over his tongue, which might win over some voters who were previously repulsed by Trump’s demeanor.
As for Biden, the debate was not as successful. Many, even some Democrats, are calling into question President Biden’s mental state. Throughout the night Biden seemed incoherent and many are concerned about his age, even more than previously thought. His performance is now leaving Democrats scrambling as to whether Biden is fit to continue his campaign. If not him then who? Would Democrats look to Vice President Kamala Harris? With the DNC convention in August, the clock is ticking to make a choice.
